BLACK SABBATH Guitarist Rocks The Cure

According to Underecover News, BLACK SABBATH's Tony Iommi is the latest big-name musician to get involved with Rock The Cure, a fund and awareness-raising charity that aims to help collect money through the online auctioning of personalized celebrity-designed Gibson guitars. The cause? To raise money to fund breast cancer research and help fight the disease.

Guitar giant Gibson have donated 50 Gibson Les Paul SG Special guitars to be made over by the unique designs of any willing celebrities.

Iommi joins a list of compassionate high profile celebrities including Sheryl Crow, Rod Stewart, Ellen DeGeneres, Melissa Etheridge, David Carradine, Mick Fleetwood, Joe Perry of AEROSMITH, Brian Johnson of AC/DC, Billy Morrison and CAMP FREDDY and NO DOUBT.

The live "Designer Gibson Guitar Auction" begins at the Los Angeles Hard Rock Café on May 3 at 8:30, and is for invited guests only. However, the online auction starts on April 24 and is open to any game bidder at www.juliensauctions.com.
